The Team

Sarah is the founding member and lead instructor within the Eastbourne Salsa company. She is a highly qualified instructor and has a wealth of experience teaching both Salsa and Ballroom dance. Her classes are always relaxed and you are sure to be greeted with a friendly smile. Sarah has a burning passion for crossbody salsa because of its elegance, flare and strong technique which is reflected in her style. However, Sarah embraces all styles of salsa and is willing to dance Cuban salsa, Colombian salsa and New York on2 at just about every level. On the dance floor, Sarah is known for her leadability, strong technique and stability. Sarah is extremely approachable and is always ready to lend a hand, or address any questions or concerns about latin dancing.

Richie has been a supporter and instructor for Eastbourne Salsa for many years. Richie has been dancing a mixture of salsa styles for over fourteen years and has a wealth of experience teaching dance. He has worked for over 10 years with various clubs around the Southeast. Richie is a perfectionist and is not satisfied until all students in the classes are themselves satisfied and can comfortably execute the cuban patterns. Highly approachable and always offering a kind smile, Richie is a safe bet for a social dance or just a casual conversation about salsa…or anything.
